Do You Care About the Commons? Can you give 1-2 hours a week? (only occasionally more). If so, please consider serving on the Board. Simply read, complete and return this form to the COA mailbox (near the sign board and Little Library), give to a board member, or email to support@navigatecm.com.
The deadline for submission is October 30, 2024. Board members will be voted on electronically in November, the results of the election will be announced at the Annual Meeting, November 21st, and begin serving upon election. Have questions? Contact any board member for additional information.
General Board Responsibilities:
• Represent the best interests of the community • Build community • Perform position responsibilities • Actively engage in board deliberations, respond regularly to emails and attend all quarterly board meetings • Uphold Commons Bylaws, Rules & Code of Ethics (see www.commonsatcordata.com. Go to doc library) • Review all owner property modification requests • Review bank & financial statements every month • Monitor condition of common property • Provide ID's to Navigate (federal law - to prevent board fraud/theft)
(Please note: Board members must be Commons owners, be a state resident, cannot serve consecutive terms, and must have a one-year break between terms. (Board members are asked to serve for two years, because the first year you are mostly just learning.)
No one from the same household can succeed a board member without a 2/3 vote at the Annual Owners Mtg.)
